Hey bloggers! Inquisitive Writer here! I haven’t written a post in a while now, and this post will be a tiny house review! As you may know, I have said that I will be showing my custom lego reviews. In case you didn’t know… I am a lego custom builder. I take whatever legos I have, and make something out of my imagination. A few months ago, I built a lego tiny house, and it was pretty fun. Ok, so I entered in the Future Photo Challenge contest from the Daily Post. I know this is weird that I’m posting on a Tuesday, but you can check out my “How often I post” page to see when I usually blog. You basically take a photo relating on something that will happen in the future. It’s required that you enter one photo, but I took so many spring photos beforehand, I just wanted to incorporate all of them! Continue reading “I Can Predict the Future!”
This is a question I ask myself everyday. Is Spring here?! Spring is my favorite season of the year, because everything starts blooming. Tens of thousands of flower petals fall onto the road, leaving me and my bicycle to ride over them. This is a picture I took last year of the flowers on the trees:
It was not a comfortable position getting under the tree, but it was so worth it 👍🏽👍🏽. Winter is just the crap, because you never know when you need to turn the AC on, and it wakes you up IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND other reasons where I don’t need to go all caps. Winter forces me to wear the same clothes over and over again. Winter brings colds and viruses, and I just had a virus about a week ago. Winter brings clouds, which is no sun, which leads to unhappy days. If it’s sunny, I’m always in a bright mood. If it’s cloudy or rainy (NOT snowy) I’m in more of a dark mood. When spring starts, I will ride my bike whenever I can, and wear 75% of my clothing. Here’s a short poem that I wrote about spring:
Here it comes
Spring is near
Here it is
Spring is here
Flowers and trees and starting to bloom,
Hurry and get out of your room!
I hear chirping out of my window,
I also hear my neighbor lawnmow
I see a biker without his shirt,
I seriously hope he doesn’t get hurt!
People are taking early vacations,
From all across the different nations!
I sure know that Spring will end,
But surely my sorrow will mend!
Ok, I’m DONE. That is all the riddle that will come out of me. But that is literally what happens in Spring in NJ. See you in a couple weeks Spring!
Oh! Today’s Color Your World Challenge color is melon. Go pastel pink!
This photo is part of the Vibrant Color Challenge. Even though it said to only post photos in a warmer climate, I don’t care. I really love this photo.
This is a photo that I actually took, and I take full pride in it. No edits at all. This shot was taken in the morning, around 6:45-ish. This photo describes that you can find little photography moments in monotonous work days. To all my workaholics out there, just remember: there are little moments every day you should remember. Every day isn’t the same.
Even though this doesn’t remind you of the good ol’ summer days, it’s just a little reminder that you should stop, focus, and smile. 🌅 😇
The new year is coming very soon (technically in 2 days but we celebrate tomorrow!) I cannot wait for the new year. But before we move forward, let’s move back with things I did in 2015:
- Started a blog in June (you can search my first post “Dangerous Social Media Apps”)
- Relearned how to ride a bike
- Saved money and bought a computer
- Traveled to Aruba
- Enjoyed my time in Aruba
- Recently started to do more DIY projects
Here are the things I will try to accomplish in 2016:
- Chill out/ and stop worrying about stupid things
- Be more happy
- I will now post DIY projects I find on Pinterest and try them out. I will also post things about seeing through someone else’s eyes. Also, if you are new to blogging, check out my Newbie Blogging Tips page on the sidebar for awesome advice to get started!
- Try to cut back on the chocolate and sweets
- Travel a lot more!!
- Draw more
- Focus on my academic career more than anything
Well, these are all my goals for 2016. What will be yours?
What would happen if we lived in a world that had no color?
This is the question of the day. What if there was no color in this wonderful world?
There would be no interesting artpieces or illustrations. No one’s art would be as interesting. Paintings that were meant to display rainbows or a multitude of colors, won’t be captivating. Murals wouldn’t be fascinating.
We wouldn’t be as creative as we are with colors. We wouldn’t even bother wearing something colorful for events, or just for a jog. What makes us different individually is by what we wear, and color comes into play into a lot of that. We wouldn’t be ourselves, in a way.
Photographers wouldn’t have as amusing photos. Sure, there is some black & white photography, but most photographers include color in their photos. Photographers would have to find a new hobby, because their art wouldn’t be as appreciated.
Nature wouldn’t be a beautiful sight. We all know flowers and trees are known for their color, but nature wouldn’t matter for our sight anymore. Sunflowers wouldn’t express their bright yellow patch, apple trees wouldn’t show off their eye-catching red apple color.
There are many reasons why we are so fortunate to live in a world of different colors, cultures, people, clothing styles, attitudes, and so on. Color seems alive in our eyes, and it really brings out the little things. 🙂
Yes! I have done it! You know I said that only lucky photographers can snap that once-in-a-lifetime photo? Well, this is the photo! I snapped this with no filters, with my iPhone 6, in the morning approx. 6 a.m.
I feel like I should get a Nikon camera. I am becoming a photographer with only an iPhone 6 as a camera. I need something just for capturing photos. Anyways, I am going to think about it. I hope I reach my decision!
I (and you know already) like to take photos. I also like to imagine things ,too. For example:
Or my favorite:
As a photographer, I need to imagine things to understand them, or make use of them. To make it simpler, I am also an artist (I’ll explain in the next post). I can look at a coupon newspaper and say, Oh, just expired coupons. Or, I could say Wow! New inspiration! I can totally paint, draw, and mark who I am on this plain newspaper See what I mean? If you are a photographer or artist or even a historian, (a little advice) try to look at things and hints in different ways to get a better understanding of them. It helps a lot. 😉
Photography. It can be a passion, or a love. Many photographers strive for the once-in-a-lifetime-photo. The prize can be given to some lucky photographers.
I really love photography. The name for my blog may not totally go with another name such as The Lucky Photographer. If I had a photography blog, (and if I had time) that would totally be the name. But I use Pinterest and Instagram as my photography sharing tools. You might be wondering why I didn’t put my Instagram profile up on WordPress. I have not put it up for security reasons (no, just kidding :-D) I didn’t put it up because tons of my personal friends are on it and I don’t think they would entirely happy if I permitted access to their personal photos and selfies. And also my Instagram is my personal+photography account. Perhaps I could make another account for photography, but that’s too much work. Really, two accounts? I’m only having one account for one social media. Unless it’s for business. But (little me) I would combine my personal+photography+business account. Then…. blah blah blah blah… blah…
ANYWAYS, back to the post. Here are my favorite Pinterest and Instagam photos
And last but CERTAINLY NOT LEAST
Picture this: you are underwater and encounter some setbacks
Wow! Here I am underwater. What the…? I can breathe?! And would you look at that, a tail ,too?!? There are aqua-blue walls around me. George Washington? Oh, phew it was just a painting. Painting can survive underwater? Well that’s a first.
I stop and silently admire the turquoise walls. Something is moving. Coral, maybe? It’s [I believe] a human. She stops and looks, startled, and exhales air bubbles. Oh no! I start to sprint, no, swim rapidly (yes!) toward the poor (and soon to be deceased) woman. I pull her up, up, and up! We are at the surface. Still, not breathing. I call for help. No one. The sun was blaring in my eyes. I start swimming quickly again to shore. I try to breathe myself, but I hurry back to the water. I had no idea what happened to her. Last thing I saw was the beach.
